he high-pressure pump pressurizes low-pressure diesel and delivers it into the common rail for storage. Based on engine speed and load signals, the ECU adjusts pump fuel supply via pressure sensor feedback to control rail pressure. Injectors open as required to inject constant-pressure fuel from the rail. This design decouples injection pressure from pump speed, guaranteeing fine fuel atomization even at low engine speed.
